Working Principle
The separator employs a high-intensity magnetic field to attract and isolate ferromagnetic particles from slurries. The process includes:

Slurry Input: Contaminated slurry is pumped or gravity-fed into the separator’s chamber.
Magnetic Adsorption: Ferromagnetic particles are captured by magnetic poles (e.g., rods, drums, or grids) under a gradient magnetic field generated by permanent magnets or electromagnets.
Fluid Passage: Non-magnetic components (liquids, non-metallic particles) pass through the magnetic zone and proceed to downstream processes.
Impurity Removal: Adsorbed contaminants are manually or automatically cleaned via scrapers, high-pressure water jets, or demagnetization, enabling continuous or intermittent operation.

Selection Criteria
Slurry Properties: Viscosity, solid content, particle size distribution, pH, and temperature (-20°C to 80°C).
Flow & Pressure: Select models based on capacity (e.g., 1–100 m³/h).
Purity Standards: Target iron content (e.g., ≤50 ppm).
Installation: Explosion-proof requirements, space constraints, and mobility needs.

Maintenance & Precautions
Regular Cleaning: Prevent clogging and magnetic field weakening.
Seal Inspections: Avoid slurry leaks damaging magnets or electrical parts.
Magnet Protection: Shield permanent magnets from high temperatures (NdFeB tolerates ≤80°C) and impacts.
Sensor Calibration: Verify flow and pressure sensors to ensure automated cleaning responsiveness.
